ODAEP's Urban Block Party App helps students relive the important messages, performances, and music experienced during the live school performances that are a part of the longest running anti-bullying movement in NYC.
Viewing the modern assembly as an under-utilized format for exposing youth to important social themes and topics that are essential for holistic education, ODAEP's Urban Block Party (UBP) Concert Series tackles systemic bullying/cyber-bullying, youth violence, and intolerance among youth. ODAEP-UBP Concerts energize students and educators alike by engaging all of their senses—through music, media, and interactive skits in order to deepen the impact of it’s themes and messaging.
To date, UBP has been experienced by more than 10,000 DOE students across 50+ public schools across the (5) boroughs.
